One of a group of originally eight, but now seven dwarves that lives and works together in the diamond mines of FTL. It is this group of dwarves Snow White lives with after thinking she's lost Charming. They help Snow attempt to rescue Charming and they build her a beautiful glass coffin when they think she's dead. Sleepy is on guard duty with Grumpy at Snow's and Charming's castle when the curse strikes.
In Storybrooke, the seven are split up and do not know one another. Walter works at Storybrooke's hospital, often sleeping during his shifts, as a security guard.
