Mulan is a warrior helping Prince Phillip search for Aurora in FTL when the Dark Curse strikes. They are trapped in a corner of FTL that mysteriously survives the destruction of the curse. After 28 years, the curse weakens enough for them to continue their search. They find Aurora, and while Phillip wakes Aurora, Mulan fights the wraith. As they are traveling back to their safe haven, Phillip sneaks off to save the women from the wraith. Mulan goes after him, but is too late. She and Aurora lay him out on a bier, then discover Emma and Snow White unconcious under a pile of rubble. Mulan is distrustful and stoic, but there are some hints that she might be in love with Phillip. Aurora picks up on these and they become uneasy traveling companions. The tension is only increased by the arrival of Emma and Snow.
