The Dark One Dagger!

The couple of differences I spotted was at the tip of the sword. If you go past the name and in the second pic you see that lighter area looks butterfly shaped and that is the same but if you go right below that to the little triangle, the first pic has it seem to bleed out to the middle of the dagger and the design below. In the second pic you see that its a very precise triangle. Then if you go right below and in the second picture you see the circular design it is a smooth circle and in the pic above the bottom half of the circle is jagged.

It might be a prop error, a difference of an inactive dagger versus one being active (while controlling the Dark One), or two different daggers all together with the real one hidden away by Rumple with the fake one to confuse people and protect himself.

I agree that is totally another possibility...that it appears however you would be reading it...or at least that is one way they can 'get out' of the 'prop mistake' without admitting its a mistake!

Maybe it's like the a phone and adjusts itself to whichever way it's being held

Pretty sure its a prop mistake...but you never know!

it is scroll work on hte back...not a name.

If I recall the Promo pic it looked just like the last time we saw it with the name Rumplestiltskin starting from the handle.

So I guess it can't be the word goes one way on one side and one way the other? I can't make out the "Zoso" to see. Anyone check the dagger shot in the season 2 promo?
