Ok so i got stills of the majority of the scenes of the promo. here they are (with a couple of repeats from eclectic and rra165) and my thoughts concerning them:

I'll post in the "News/Spoiler" area as well.  I can see Theodora now more than Elphaba, based on their breakdown of both.    

i wonder how that apartment with the dream catcher is still around...Did Neal have that much cash on him/in his bank account if rent/mortgage was coming directly out. Or did he just pay up for an entire year plus?

Oh and for the name here is a link where it talks about the name Disney chose for her - Theodora and the popular Wicked name - Elphaba. Either way i am excited to see just how bad WWotW is!

Ok…that screenshot I just posted leads to some more questions!  That dreamcatcher was in Neal's apartment IN NY initially.  Does that apartment still exist decked out how Neal had it?!?

In "Manhattan" - this shot is almost a 'deja vu' of what happened in Neal's apartment with her noticing it!!!   

Will it jog memories?  Where is she? What leads her to that place?

So, "Tallahassee" took place…Emma STILL knows who Neal is…thus, the deja vu with the dream catcher!!! Wonder if the reaction upon their meeting this time will be different…

That also still seems to point to the fact that the apartment is Neal's…but, Neal being Bae and seeing him in FTL(or supposedly FTL)w the rest of the gang in that scene w/Snow leads to the question of just how much of Bae's/Neal's life was affected after the point of Henry's Birth??? This had to be after the meeting of Neal and August where the VW and cash are exchanged. 

Oh…and I think I heard/read August may make another appearance?!?!

That doesn't surprise me about the name. Wicked isn't one of original Oz books and it wasn't written by Frank L Baum - all of his books are public domain - so I guess they can name her whatever they want to...other than Elphaba or whatever it is. It will be interesting to see how they portray her. I never read any of the books...but it seems to me that the writers can pretty much make up any story they want about her since she 'died' in the first original book...at least she did in the movie...

ok thanks for the clearing up. She probably has. So that means she would recognize Neal but only as Neal, the guy who ditched her and left her for jail not as Baelfire. 

Also, I read on one of the articles that they can't use Elphaba because Disney doesn't own the rights to Wicked..I think Matt Mitovich (sp) even changed it on his article.. but I could be wrong!!

I assume she still remembers e erything the way it was until she gives birth to Henry and decides to hold him. As for the apartment...I think that is just to show she has done ok for the past year...

so I have this question and it's bothering me. Hopefully one of you can help!:

When Regina changed Emma's memories, does she still know who Neal is, did she still go to jail, and did everything before Henry was born happen? Does she still go to jail for stealing the watches, because I didn't think it was realistic for an ex con to be living in New York and in such a nice apartment haha I'd also like to see part of her "cursed" life flashbacks and especially what happened in the last year since it says one year later

so i notice that Regina is in the mayors office in the SB scenes of the promo...so does that mean she cast the New Curse? It also appears that the people of SB know they are cursed and the shot of the 'reunion' with Belle & Rumple i am wondering if they all remember who they are...

I am also thinking that the Charmings aren't in SB with the new curse...thinking they might be in Oz by the end of the 'lost year'...

ugh...can't wait until march to find out what happened!

ok actually i think maybe Rumple was trying to get the Ruby Slippers but Jeff couldn't find them...they had already been taken to a land without magic. Either way I still think the WW is the reason Rumple and company got poofed to somewhere and maybe she either thinks he has them or thinks he can get them for her. I still think at some point we will see Emma wearing them and clicking her heels and saying there is no place like home...

I think you are right eclectic about it being more than one episode...I wonder if it is Neal on the stretcher. Its definitely a male and both Hook and RH are there...so I think it is either RH's son or NEal...with Neal being the more likely person that would tie both Hook and RH together. Also yes...that was another screen shot that was definitely interesting!


Here is my theory for the second half so far:

Ok first off Rumple and daddy 'poofed' so no way are they dead. I doubt they will
bring back the actor who plays the grown up daddi-o very much so i am going to say
somehow they bring back the boy who plays Peter Pan...Maybe he gets a second
chance or something and can go back to being a boy but will then grow old...

As to where they poofed to...I am thinking possibly OZ...I would need to verify
unless someone here can confirm this - Rumple has the Ruby Slippers - I thought
Jeff mentioned something about them in Season 2. And who wants those slippers???
Thats right the WWotW. So miraculously she poofs them to OZ to demand Rumple gives
them back to her just in the nick of time before they are both killed. Remember if
Pan dies so should the Curse...which that didn't happen...

But low and behold Regina stops Pan's Curse and Storybrooke goes Up in Smoke (wonder if we will see any Cheech)
and so Rumple says perhaps they are back in the EF. So the WWotW journeys there
and takes up residence in the EQ castle. While looking for the slippers she
apparently wreaks havoc on everyone and also Regina makes her way to RUmple's old
homestead where she finally meets RH.

Perhaps the slippers aren't there though either so at some point a new curse needs
to be cast to bring back SB so that the slippers can be found. Since its a new curse perhaps the memories won't be
stolen again...not really sure on this. You see a reunion with Belle coming off
a ship in modern clothes and it looks like she is reuniting with Rumple. Hook in
every scene is wearing his old garb so i am going to assume he again doesn't get
affected by the New Curse and that is why he is able to go to New York...

It will be interesting for sure to see how this plays out...and how close I am on
things i am calling out...the flashbacks of course will be the past year and what was happening
in the EF before this New Curse came along.

Also if anyone has seen Wicked you know that the WWotW isn't really bad and that Glenda is
actually kind of a bitch. I also think somehow Emma is going to have to have a Dorothy moment
and click her heels 3 times while wearing those slippers...

Overall, I'm thinking this promo is comprised of scenes from more than one episode…i.e. not just "New York City Serenade"!  These writers do this now and then...

I agree!!! As Ranna points out…I see Neal/Bae in brown FTL garb when I freeze the frame in the promo when Snow points out they're back.  

The only thing I can think of is something happens to Neal…he's captured/trapped.

This shot, though, gives me hope!!!   

rra - thanks...i keep watching and pausing...there is a scene where Regina is in the mayors office and it looks like Emma is sitting at the desk and Regina throws a dart. Another VERY interesting scene of note is the hospital scene with Whale saying "What did this to him" and if you pause it you can see in the background Hook in his ever present FTL garb (apparently he never changes clothes...hopefully he at least showers occasionally) and guess who else....drum roll...ROBIN HOOD in a modern day leather jacket! Definitely a new curse and Storybrooke lives! LOL...need to write up my theory on how things play out...to be posted soon!

I attempted at hosting a screen shot i took from the promo on this page. it isn't that good of quality but it definitely looks like belle is talking in a town hall and it looks like emma is there, she's in the shot immediately before

 

i am thinking either Belle somehow gets back to our world and is in modern day clothes asking Emma if she knows about Pan and the curse...OR yet ANOTHER curse gets cast and storybrooke comes back only this time it only has some of the people in it and others are still in the enchanted forest...i don't know lol but that promo is really interesting.

Eclectic i know sometimes you can get frame by frame shots...maybe if you have time and the inclination you can do that for us!

i almost wonder by the way Belle said that if it isn't the Charmings who cast another curse to protect everyone in the enchanted forest for some reason...

Although you do see Belle on the beach in the promo you also see her later on in the promo in modern day clothes asking 'do you know who cursed us' and she looks like she is in a town hall or something...

nevermind...you can see in the promo that snow charming hook neal granny regina dwarves etc are all in FTL...so i guess the sb shots are possibly flashbacks...frankenstein must go back to his world and wendy and bro's i guess go to England...

i think that is what Regina did...she stopped it so i think the rest of them retain their memories...she just couldn't do it for Emma and Henry...so she gave them new ones...

i agree and like both your thoughts...i do think there was a key sentence Neal said...This isn't over yet...i will see you again.

I believe that will definitely happen...i think they had too many places and this is the way to get them all back to FTL and together again...

I do think for sure we'll hear how Prince Phillip 'came back to life' from the wraith…think Adam and Eddy hinted that.  Good points on the other characters.

I HAVE to believe Rumplestiltskin will be 'back' as he created that initial curse and somehow will not have 'died' due to his selfless act with Pan.  We know he'll be in episodes next year for S3 continuing…maybe it will be like the Blue Fairy's 'undeath' thx to Tinkerbell.  It's scary, the more I think about this episode tonight and that promo for the next one…the more confused I'm getting.

It all centers around the memory retention…we know Emma and Henry don't remember…we do NOT know who or how much memory retention the others will have back in FTL.

It will definitely give us interesting things to write about going to March 2014!!!    

…oh, and I feel the same way about Neal, Emma and Henry reuniting again!!! We KNOW there's a connection between them-Neal/Emma…it took both of them to have the "Truest Believer" in Henry(who just may also have magic capabilities we do not know about yet)  
Neal & Emma have TRUE LOVE for each other…they found each other before and will find each other AGAIN!!!
